The Bowie Basketball Program consist of:
-
Reaching out to young players within the community
- Having a consistent system and message from Freshman year to Senior Year.
- Teaching players how to study and prepare on and off the court.
- The goal of the coaching staff is to facilitate college tuition assistance for each player attending college.
- Bringing in trainers to assist staff in the proper physical preparation for games
- Bringing in academic advisors to assist the players and parents in becoming and remaining eligible for college.
- Video Taping of every game as to create DVD’s for college mailings for each Senior.
- Emphasizing academic excellence to compliment on-court activiteis.
- Off-season exposure camps and clinics for all Varsity players.
- Bowie plays in Prince George’s County Maryland 4A league.
- Partner with Bowie Xpress AAU Basketball Organization
(www.bowiexpress.org) for National and International exposure for players during the Off-Season.
